OWNER | HEAD COACH

COACH DREW

As a former Army Staff Sergeant and two-time Combat Veteran, focusing that same level of dedication and passion into CrossFit was an easy next step for Be Strong Owner, Drew Whitted.
Drew holds the title of a CrossFit Level3 Certified Trainer, is a Healthy Steps Nutrition certified nutrition coach, and is a Certified Functional Strength Coach, including thirteen other CrossFit certifications. Drew has also set multiple Powerlifting World Championship Records in multiple federations. Drew believes that a great coach is constantly learning and striving for embetterment and is currently enrolled in Affiliate University's Coaches Development Course.
Drew has also been featured on CNN, Morning Express with Robin Meade, People Magazine, Business Insider, Fitness Volt, New York Daily News, Business Insider, and was published in The Pro Coach CrossFit.

POWER COACH

COACH DAVE

Dave has been a member of Be Strong since 2016 and shortly after became a Power Coach in 2018. Dave is proud to be a USAPL certified Power Coach, trained in CrossFit conjugate training method, is CrossFit certified in scaling, Masters coaching, and CrossFit judging.
Dave is married with three adult children and three sweet granddaughters. He enjoys retirement.
Fun fact: Dave once hand-built a cedar strip canoe.

COACH CALEB

Caleb has been competing in CrossFit since he was 12 years old and is a three-time CrossFit Games athlete. We are proud to have his skills on our coaching staff at Be Strong! After visiting every CrossFit gym in town, he ultimately ended up at Be Strong because the coaching is top notch and the community is even better. He's a big fan of country and worship music while he works out and enjoys the outdoors in his free time.

NUTRITION COACH

ANNA

Anna has been working as a nutrition coach since 2019 after earning her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. For 7 years, she worked in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, and has a huge passion for health and wellbeing. She has been a dedicated crossfitter for 2 1/2 years now, and is thrilled to be helping launch the Happy Healthy Strong Nutrition Program for the BeStrong family. Anna’s personal mission is to guide every client to sustainable and healthy lifestyle changes, and to make nutrition simple again. Simplifying nutrition and creating automatic, healthy routines provides you with energy and mental freedom to focus on the things in life you love the most.

DR. EMILY

Emily is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Level 2 CrossFit Coach, and a USAW Level 1 Coach. With her in-depth knowledge of human anatomy in addition to CrossFit movements, she is able to provide members with specific and specialized performance recovery therapy, accessory strengthening, injury prevention, recovery exercises and (Recovery WODs). Her mission at Be Strong is to help all Be Strong members Be Happy, Healthy, Strong and Pain Free!

COACH SAM

Coach Sam is a L3 Certified CrossFit Trainer and Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant with a passion for coaching and empowering others. With over five years at Be Strong, Sam is the head coach for the Be Strong Kids and Teens Programs. A personal transformation story: Coach Sam lost over 75 pounds and now lives a life focused on being happy, healthy, and strong - always striving to be 1% better every day. Sam is dedicated to giving back to the Be Strong community that has offered so much support. Sam prides herself on being an iced coffee connoisseur and mom of three incredible kids.

COACH ALLI

Alli is one of our Level 2 Trainers. Throughout the past 6 years, Alli has coached for several different gyms and ultimately ended up at Be Strong due to the strong community and coaching development under Drew's leadership. Alli's passion is to help others reach their full potential.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

LEAH

Leah helps with various administrative tasks while also managing the social media channels for Be Strong. She has an educational background in exercise science and has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years as a personal trainer, fitness instructor and CrossFit L1 Trainer. Over the years, Leah has also managed a variety of people, programs, and fitness facilities. She joined Be Strong because she felt a true sense of connection to the community at Be Strong. Drew's passion for helping people lead happy, healthy, and strong lives is contagious. She says "Drew's mission is simple and aligns with why I started out in the fitness field. Exercise is preventative medicine and if everyone could get their daily dose, we'd be a lot more happier, healthier, and stronger!"

JENNA

Jenna is the behind-the-scenes work of all things Be Strong. If you've ever attended one of our events, received our weekly newsletter (or heck, visited this very website), you have Jenna to thank. Jenna is a retired wedding planner-turned-stay-at-home mom to the two cutest girls you ever did see. She loves that she and her husband are able to make fitness an integral part of their family life, thanks to the supportive "mom-community" at Be Strong.
